Hi Everyone this will be my last ever update on the Dittoday Jewellery page .As of tomorrow I will no longer be the owner of Dittoday Jewellery. I am Happy to announce that I have sold the business to a lovely lady called Hani. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all, all the beautiful girls that have worked with me over the years(Oh how we laughed,and still will often) , my fabulous customers, all the great jewelers and jewellery suppliers I have bought from over the years. Also the guys and girls at Cafe Segovia and C&B , thanks for the coffee guys..( and a glass or 2 of bubbles). My family for putting up with me being self employed for all these years... My very best wishes to Hani .I know she will do well..Ok this is me signing off after my last day in retail for 16 years ....yay go me!...seeya Bronwyn

Winter Colours ...by Countess Dracula..

 Some of the new winter colours available in the Czech glass beads ..by Countess Dracula..

 All these pieces are made in Melbourne..

They add that dash of colour to a winter coat or jumper..

 These are on pins in a beautiful Dark Red...very like original vintage crystal beds..These are graduated and fall well around the neck...

 Vintage style crystal clasp used..all styles can be custom made...

(one of my fav Leonard Cohen. I think this was filmed in Melbourne the day after Black Saturday ,that is a kaos he talks of at the start ..I was lucky enough to be there..)

Bettbett Beads

 I love these vintage pieces. Mostly two and three strand pearl and glass beads...1960s early 70s.

I think they remind me of very well dressed women from my childhood....there was a woman that lived across the road ,she was glam We as children called her Bettbett , and all those 60s TV stars .Loucille Ball ,Mary Tylermore,The It Girl Marlo Thomas and Mister Eds Neighbour (forgot her name but she was glam).Anyways all very reasonably priced.....Under $20..

The Horse Shoe is a very Strong symbol in all these styles...I think it was a symbol of Good Luck ...Most of the hallmarks on these pieces are during  WW1...
